Who We Are
We're a family owned and run creative, child-centred music school based in South Dublin offering music education for all ages, rooted in the belief that learning music should be a joyful and enriching part of life – not just an extracurricular activity.
With over 30 years experience, our classes are warm, engaging, and tailored to the developmental stage of each student. We don’t just teach notes and technique – we help both children and adults connect with music in a way that lasts.
Our Approach to Teaching
At the heart of LPSM is the Kodály philosophy of music education, which emphasizes learning through the voice, movement, listening, and musical games.
Children learn musical concepts gradually and naturally, much like they learn to speak—through imitation, repetition, and exploration. This creates a strong inner sense of pitch, rhythm, and musicality before ever picking up an instrument.
